Meet our Athletic Leadership Team
Coach Marc Delgado (Cross Country, JH Basketball, Varsity Girls’ Basketball, Track, E-Sports)
Hi, my name is Marc Delgado and I will be entering my 8th year coaching and 7th year teaching at LCS. This will be my first year serving as the Athletic Director. Over this span I have coached cross-country teams that have placed 3rd at the state meet 4 times, and have won back to back state titles the last 2 years, have coached JH basketball each year, as well as been as assistant varsity coach each year. I have also been the head girls track coach to teams that have placed 3rd at state, and have won a regional title. I look forward to helping our new E-Sports program as well, as I competed in E-Sports in college and look forward to helping our students excel in this. I thoroughly love being a coach, and look forward to working with the extremely talented athletes we have this year!
Coach Andy Cummins (Volleyball)
Hi, my name is Andy Cummins, and I am very excited to be on the coaching staff here at Lifestyle this year. I grew up playing baseball and soccer through High School and was a Weekend Warrior in both for a while as I got older. I also played volleyball with WCAA for a couple of years. As my daughters began volleyball in Elementary, I assisted with the team wherever I could. I was even Interim Coach for one season. Most recently I have served as assistant to the coach under Coach Seymore. My wife, Summer will be assisting me this year.
Coach Jerry Speck (Varsity Boys Basketball)
My name is Jerry Speck, and I live in The Woodlands, Texas with my wife of 50 years, Nadene. I graduated from Albany High School in Albany, Texas where I played football, basketball, and ran track. I graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in History and also obtained a Secondary Teaching Certificate. I coached High School sports that included Football, Basketball and helped with track at various schools in Texas. I am very excited to coach these young men at LCS this year, and I expect great things ahead!!!
Coach Valerie Smith (Assistant Girls’ Basketball Coach)
My name is Coach Smith and will be entering my first year coaching and teaching at LCS. This will be my 10th year in education. I played basketball and ran cross-country in high school. In college, I played on an intramural championship flag football, baseball, and softball team. I coached a championship Upwards Sports 5th and 6th grade girls basketball team in 2019. I look forward to my time here at LCS.
Coach Kyle Nilson (JH Boys Basketball Head Coach, Varsity Boys Basketball Assistant, E-Sports)
Hi, my name is Kyle Nilson, and I am a former graduate of LCS. I coached Jr High and assisted high school Basketball for 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons. I coached Jr High Football and assisted high school for the 2019 season. I played football and basketball at LCS From 2014-2018, and I look forward to coaching our wonderful athletes this year.
Assistant Coach Brooklyn Peach (Track)
Brooklyn Peach is a Lifestyle Alumni who has played sports her whole life. She has run cross-country, track and field, as well as played volleyball and basketball. She excelled in track and field, participating in long jump, triple jump, hurdles, the 100m, the 200m, the 400m, and every short distance relay. Ms. Peach placed for state and won various awards in her years here at Lifestyle. She is excited to get back on track and assist the team this upcoming season.
